February was an exciting month for us. We were so proud to be a part of Indian Intimate Fashion Week’s first-ever plus-sized fashion show. As an inclusive lingerie brand, we’ve made it our mission to empower women around the world to seek out and wear beautiful lingerie that fits well and feels amazing.

We couldn’t think of a better way to pave the path and encourage open conversations about lingerie than with a series of events and an unforgettable fashion show centered around education, empowerment, and inclusivity.

Indian Intimate Fashion Week was a success, with renowned Bollywood actress and body positivity activist Zareen Khan headlining the show. It’s true that body positivity reigned supreme throughout the event, with our stunning models stealing the show in fan favorites Adriana, Charlotte, Elissa, Lydie, Wendy, Parfait Active, and Sandrine.

In a recent recap of the event by The Lingerie Journal, Ankita Soni, the Indian General Brand Manager of Parfait, shared that one of our goals is to “encourage women to feel empowered and be open to showcase their bodies, as there is no definition of a perfect or flawless body.” To us, all sizes are beautiful. Our #PerfectFigures campaign solidified our stance as a body positive lingerie line and we want to encourage our customers to embrace the #PowerOfPerfect worldwide.

Unfortunately, India’s plus size market has been underserved for a while. According to Ankita, “India is struggling with sizes. Sizes are missing, which has created a huge opportunity and potential for plus-size lingerie and our customers are expecting fashion and comfort in these sizes.”

As such, the lack of sizes has created a hole in the plus size intimate apparel industry in India and we want to help change that. This year, we’re opening up brick and mortar stores in India to provide women with the education and undergarments they need to feel supported, comfortable, and chic.

We’re looking forward to helping women in India shop for lingerie with body positivity, empowerment, and inclusivity in mind.

Thank you to The Lingerie Journal and Liz King for covering the event!
